Our staff are our greatest asset, and we train, support and value them by nurturing confidence in their skills and abilities. Our staff excel in developing positive relationships with children and parents.
Our staff are selected based on their training, professionalism, and character; as well as their enthusiasm and never-ending commitment to children. They will support your child/ren with their educational, emotional and physical development.
We have a rigorous selection process, and all our staff go through a training programme to ensure they understand the high quality of care we demand on a daily basis. All our staff are interviewed by a panel and must produce two outstanding references. They are fully-trained in safeguarding, and the majority of them hold a paediatric first aid certificate.
All our staff and trainees have an enhanced DBS checked before they start working in the nursery. All our staff hold a Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Childcare, with some trainees working towards Level 3.
Our experienced nursery manager and her supervisors are friendly and extremely professional; they are on hand to help with enquiries regarding your child's care and progress throughout their time at The Littlehaven Nursery.
We realise that giving each child one-to-one attention is essential for boosting their development. At The Littlehaven Nursery, we have a staff-to-child ratio that adheres to current policies and regulations.
- For children under two, it is one adult to three children.
- For children between two and three-years-old, it is one adult to four children.
- For children aged three and above, it is one adult to eight children.
Your child will be in safe hands - safety is our primary concern and priority.
