Earlier this month, some of the children in our setting graduated from the nursery as they’re going to ‘Big School’ in September. It was a bittersweet afternoon for us; on the one hand, we are so proud to see how far each child has come whilst in our care. And we’re delighted to see them moving to ‘Big School’, but we’re also sad to see them go and will miss them dearly.
Parents along with family and friends flocked to the nursery to see their child/ren in cute graduation gowns and to share this special occasion. Family and friends all sat in the toddler room waiting for the graduates to make their entrance one by one. During the ceremony, each child was greeted by Eleanor, the CEO, before being presented with certificates; the children then had their photos taken before leaving the stage. Following the ceremony, parents took their child/ren outside for family photos and then enjoyed some delicious refreshments.
We would like to this opportunity to thank the parents for supporting us in our first year. And we’d like to wish all our graduates the best of luck in ‘Big School’.
