October was a jam-packed month at The Littlehaven Nursery. There was never a dull moment as we celebrated everything from Black History Month to Halloween. To celebrate Black History Month, we invited Mangotree Kids to come to the nursery to run an African drumming workshop, which the children absolutely loved. For Halloween, the children dressed up in very cool outfits, including a banana, chef, police officer, lion, zombie and much, much more; and the day was filled with spooktacular activities that they enjoyed getting involved in. Now that Christmas is upon us, we are thinking of fun ways to celebrate the festive period.
Recently, the preschoolers have been visiting Kentish Town Library once a week to enjoy reading sessions with a twist. We have been teaching them about the importance of caring for books and what a wonderful experience reading is.
Earlier in the month, Teddy Tennis came to Littlehavent to offer our preschoolers a taster session, and the children had an awesome time playing lots of different tennis games.
