We're a Social Enterprise
The Littlehaven Nursery is a social enterprise; our profits will support Castlehaven Community Association, a registered charity delivering services to Camden residents.
Established in 1986, the Castlehaven Community Association (CCA) is an award-winning charity delivering services to residents in one of the most deprived areas of Camden. Services include: working with young people (11-19) and older adults (60+). CCA manage and maintain the four-acre community park, (including an astroturf multisport and floodlit pitch) that surrounds The Littlehaven Nursery. CCA advocate for local people, run and/or support campaigns around local issues; provide community classes and free legal advice sessions with the support of local solicitors; offer Foodbank Vouchers and is a Clasp centre for people in distress or crisis.
CCA works with many local businesses (large and small) on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, where teams of volunteers are given tasks to organise and deliver. These have included professional advice/support and training sessions/activities, such as tea and technology, quizzes and tea dances with older people, gardening in the community park, football with young people and adults with disabilities.
If you would like more information or want to get involved in the Castlehaven Community Association's activities, please visit their website or speak to a member of their staff on 020 7485 3386, they'd be happy to help.
